Mike Ray serves at Ensign College as Director of Career and Internship Services. His job is to help Ensign students find jobs and build careers. This is the capstone chapter in his career—a chance to give back and help build capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ.
Mike has worked for over 35 years with leading technology companies in sales, marketing, and executive leadership roles. Most recently he was Senior Vice President at MarketStar Corporation, where his teams provided services for companies like Google, Samsung, Intel, HP, Cisco, Microsoft, and over 100 other companies.
Mike has an BS degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Utah.
While Mike has loved his career, the focus of his life is his family and Church service. He and his wife Cindy have 7 children and 20 grandchildren. Mike has served in many different stake and ward callings in the church, including Bishop, Elders Quorum President, Young Men President and High Council, and is currently serving as a ward missionary and gospel doctrine teacher. He served as a full-time missionary in the Texas Dallas and Peru Lima North Missions.
